I am so incredibly excited to announce our summer plans!!! Will and I have each been accepted into two prestigious programs this year.
Will is going to the University of Florida in Gainesville for a 2-week program on incorporating infectious diseases (a life-long passion of his) in to his AP Biology class. His program is called CATALySES (Collaborating to Advance Teaching and Learning of Science Educators and Students).
And I have been accepted to a 3-week program in New York City called the Religious Worlds of New York. I can’t wait to go back to NYC to explore their religious diversity and learn about how I can better teach global religions to my Humanities students.
Additionally, my sister and her boyfriend are coming over to the States for 2 weeks. Crazy enough, NONE of these events overlap too much so it allows us to say YES to everything. Man, we’ve got a lot on our plates but I am so ready for summer 2017! 🙂
