I planned this trip before I really started to systematically maximize seeing UNESCO World Heritage Sites, or images from AP Art History, but I have always been a travel planner (learned from my momma!). And to be honest, the primary goal of this trip was to see my friend Beka, who was in Columbia on a Fulbright teaching English, not necessarily see all the art wonders in Columbia. No regrets. We spent a great spring break splitting our time between the capital, Bogotá, and mountain towns of Tunja, Villa de Leyva, & Paipa.
