Dimensions of the Middle East Reading List

June 17, 2019

This summer I have the great privilege to attend TWO summer institutes: one on the Holocaust & this one about the Middle East. This one is only a week but there is still some prep work & readings to get done before I get shipped off to Duke University. The amazing about this program is the Qatar Foundation International outright pays for our flight, food, & lodging rather than giving a stipend. Sweeeeet!!! Looking forward to my second PD on the Islamic/Middle Eastern World.

Countdown begins!!! I leave THIS Sunday for Duke. :))))

You actually make it seem really easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something
which I think I’d never understand. It sort of feels
too complicated and extremely broad for me. I’m having a look forward to your
next put up, I’ll attempt to get the hang of it!

It is certainly a complicated topic that I don’t know if anyone can fully “understand” it. I have a blog post coming up about mapping related to the Middle East that I hope you’ll find enlightening – let me know if there are any specific topics you’d like to see!
